Telehealth

Mobile/Home Visits
Select patients may receive specialty wound evaluation in the home when travel is difficult or home-based care is clinically appropriate. Availability is based on location and clinical need.

What to Expect at the First Visit
The first visit begins with understanding the wound and the factors that may be affecting healing.
The evaluation includes review of medical history, how the wound developed, previous treatments, current wound care, and concerns related to healing. A detailed wound assessment is completed, followed by a discussion of clinical findings and treatment recommendations.
When additional testing, specialty evaluation, or coordination with another healthcare provider is appropriate, those recommendations become part of the care plan.
The goal is a clear understanding of the wound, the treatment recommendations, and the next steps in care.
